“Light Life” Summer Pop-Up

As the first Thai designer to win Le 19M, Chanel’s Métiers d’art prize, Rukpong has deep roots in Paris and will host a pop-up showcase of the collection previously dropped in Bangkok. They consist of “everyday” pieces, with Thai silk at their core.

Cura Circle

@azuralovisa, @gabar and @studio.zagara are hosting a week-long showroom in Paris. Called Cura Circle, the three women-owned businesses “explore intersecting constellations of storytelling, craft, ritual, and purposeful discovery.” Azura Lovisa is a Swedish-Malaysian fashion label debuting a Malaysian batik collection alongside an archive sale. Gabar, meaning “world” in Burmese, is a scent brand with roots in Myanmar. Currently, 10 percent of their yearly profits goes to Prospect Burma, a charity based in the United Kingdom and Myanmar. Studio Zagara sells vintage and antique homewares.

Sneak Peek: First Look at New Bahru

New Bahru is Lo & Behold’s newest lifestyle cluster. Situated in the former Nan Chiau High School in River Valley, the building has been given a new lease of life. Local fashion establishments include r y e, GINLEE and Beyond The Vines. Expect a line-up of local food and beverage options like coffee roasters PPP Coffee and The Coconut Club. There will also beand various businesses focused on wellness and recreation.

#SGFASHIONNOW is in its final and largest edition at the Asian Civilisations Museum. Curated with the students from the School of Fashion at LASALLE College of the Arts, thehe exhibition focuses on contemporary design with 28 emerging and established Singapore-based designers.
