The Collection of Jane Ryan and William Saunders

William Saunders and Jane Ryan were the fake names frequently used by Ferdinand and Imelda Marcos, the former President and First Lady of the Philippines. Philippine artist Pio Abad and British designer Frances Wadsworth Jones have created 'The Collection of Jane Ryan and William Saunders', a digital installation that recreates Imelda Marcos’ jewellery collection, and allows viewers to understand the histories of impunity contained within the pieces. Visitors are encouraged to use Augmented Reality to place the jewellery in their own locations, as a means of regaining ownership of the precious jewels.
